An original concert by the duo Steve Piccolo and Gak Sato, respectively on bass, vocals and typewriter, and on Theremin and electronics. They presented four new pieces made with noises, “found” sounds, objects used live, and music played on instruments: Part 1: noisy chess; Part 2: Tin Pan Alley; part 3: News of the World; and Part 4: Duels and Dialogues. “Part 4 (duels and dialogues) is a situation where we respond live to archival sounds from the past. We will also use pieces from the Zona […] archive,” say the two authors.
Performance in three parts, including another iteration of Noisy Chess (Reunion).
